Lord, here I am on vacation...

Thank you for making this time possible.

May I benefit fully as a gift given to me,

a pause permitted me,

an occasion given to me to get closer to you

and closer to others,

through the encounters I will make.

Bless those who are crushed by sickness,

injustices, hard times and hatred.

Bless those whe visit us

and those who travel.
