Trusting in the Eternal Father

Eternal Father, God of all eternity,

you watch over each and every one of us.

You invite us to trust in you

And to live in surrender to your Providence.

Today, on the anniversary

of Saint Marguerite d’Youville’s

return to you, we unite with her

as we pray.

We thank you

for this faithful witness

whose faith and compassion

marked our history

and who continues to speak

to the people of our times.

Stimulate our hope,help us to walk

the road with you and to nurture Life

through our peaceful, tender and loving gestures

towards the poor and the lowly

just as she did.
